Vehicle Engineering BSc
Our goal is to train vehicle engineers who will be able to solve basic engineering tasks related to the design, manufacturing, systemic operation and repair of road-vehicle systems and mobile machines, taking into consideration aspects of safety, environmental protection, and energy management. It is important for our students to possess an interest in natural sciences, to be diligent, and to have a “team player” attitude, as well as a positive approach to acquiring new knowledge.
Using computer-aided design technologies, automotive engineers create new or improved designs for car structural members, engines, transmissions, or other vehicle systems.
Directly constructing, modifying, or testing a vehicle or its parts
Additionally, they oversee or carry out system-level vehicle testing.
Other tasks consist of:
Review the designs of vehicles.
Create engineering guidelines or budget projections for vehicle design ideas.
Give other engineers or engineering support staff technical direction.
Perform root-cause, failure, or variation analysis.
Specify parameters for manufacturing or quality control.
Engineering documentation can be created, reviewed, or maintained.
